Construction of the front wheel brake chamber ALS Mk-3 :-

The front wheel brake chamber is basically used to applying the brake into the front wheel. The front wheel brake chamber ALS Mk-3 is operated by the pressurized air.

The front wheel brake chamber ALS Mk-3 are four in numbers and fitted with front wheel, each wheel have two front wheel brake chamber. The front wheel brake chamber have a air inlet only.

Inside the body there is a rubber diaphragm provided and for gives the strength to the rubber diaphragm there is a aluminum disc is fitted. Another a plunger is also fitted with the diaphragm. This plunger is connected with push rod.

There is a spring is fitted to keep the diaphragm in initial position. The push rod is connected with the wedge and wedge roller. Wedge roller are always remains touch with the brake shoe piston.
