What do you mean by over steer and under steer, what is over steer and under steer
Introduction:-
The under steer and the over steer both are defects of the vehicle's steering system.
What is under steer:-
When vehicle take a turn and while taking a turn vehicle do not turn well it take long turn, this problem is known as under steer. The under steer problem is only because of front wheel. During turn the vehicle front wheel slipped and goes to straight direction, that's why the vehicle take a long turn and it's called under steer.
What is over steer:-
The over steer is because of the rear wheel only. When vehicle take a turn the front wheel is turn at the side of the steering but the rear wheel turn opposite side of the front wheel and that time the rear wheel apply some amount of pressure in opposite direction that's why vehicle take a short turn or quick turn it called over steer.

Some adjustments to prevent from over steer and under steer:-
1. Adjustment for over steer:-
(a) Increase the front tyre pressure.
(b) Decrease the rear tyre pressure.
(c) Keep wider front tyre width.
(d) Keep narrower rear tyre width.
(e) Adjust the front camber more negetive.
(f) Adjust the rear camber less negetive.
(g) Adjust the front wheel in toe out position.
(h) Adjust the rear wheel in toe in position.
(j) Adjust front wheel caster more positive.
(k) Shift the vehicle's center of gravity to rearward.
1. Adjustment for under steer:-
(a) Decrease the front tyre pressure.
(b) Increase the rear tyre pressure.
(c) Keep narrower front tyre width.
(d) Keep wider rear tyre width.
(e) Adjust the front camber less negetive.
(f) Adjust the rear camber more negetive.
(g) Adjust the front wheel in toe in position.
(h) Adjust the rear wheel in toe out position.
(j) Adjust front wheel caster less positive.
(k) Shift the vehicle's center of gravity to forward.
